Bamburi Cement Group, the leading cement company in East Africa, has today announced its financial result for the financial year ended December 31, 2008. Despite challenging operating environment in East Africa, the group recorded a 10 increase in operating profit to KShs 6.1 Billion up from KShs 5.5 Billion in 2007.
